A circle is a group created within the organization. Each circle has its own admin and tools. The organization itself is the highest level circle, then all circles are under the organization in the hierarchy.

Creating a Circle

To create a circle, click the “+ Create Circle” button on left navigation. Enter a name for your circle. The description field is optional and this text will appear when users see your circle in search results. Use the dropdown menu to select the parent for your circle (default is the top-level organization).

When you create a circle, you are automatically an Administrator. To manage your circle, click on the circle name from the left menu, then select “Admin Tools”.

Note: Members with Read-Only permission level cannot create a circle (the button is hidden for Read-Only members).

Deleting a Circle

A circle’s administrator(s) or the organization administrator(s) can delete a circle. Additionally, any circle can delete or edit circles that are its child.

If you’re an organization administrator that wants to delete a circle, go to your organization’s “Admin Tools” menu. Click “Manage Circles”, then click the edit icon next to the circle you want to delete. Click the yellow “Delete Circle” button, then click OK.

If you’re a circle administrator that wants to delete your circle or a circle that is a child of yours, go to your circle’s “Admin Tools” and click “Manage Circles”. Click the edit icon next to the circle you want to delete, then click the yellow “Delete Circle” button and select OK.

Organization admins can edit any circle by clicking on the organization name from the left menu, then selecting “Admin Tools” and “Manage Circles”. Click the edit icon next to the circle you want to edit. Make the changes to the circle, then click “Save Changes”.

Circle admins can edit their own circle and any child circles. Click on the circle name from the left menu, then select “Admin Tools” and “Manage Circles”.Click the edit icon next to the circle you want to edit. Make the changes to the circle, then click “Save Changes”.
